Why are the hits on my blog so much lower on weekends than on Monday to Friday?
Is it because all my readers are out sailing on Saturdays and Sundays?
Or is it because all of you do your blog-surfing at work when you should be sweating blood to grow the global economy, teaching your students about dangling participles, curing myxomatosis or whatever it is your employers think they are paying you to do while you're reading this blog?

Okay, so here's a comment on Saturday morning (local time). Now lemme go check the weather before we sail.
Try posting race results. My hits on the weekends are triple what they are during the week.
Well, I tend to visit blogs more on weekdays because I'm at home and Dan's at work. On the weekends we tend to do stuff so I blog-surf less.
I doubt I'll be able to peruse blogs when I start work because of the rather strict firewalls in operation. One place I worked monitored ALL internet activity and sent out emails about the number of people using online banking during working hours! This place also specified a maximum blood alcohol level I could have while at work.
or both
