Bear in mind that all the guys sailing in this great grandmasters world championship fleet are over 65, and some of them are well into their 70s. There's even talk now in the Laser class of creating another age group at Laser Masters regattas for sailors over 75.
Yeah. Those marathon running Sikhs sure are an inspiration to us Laser Sailors. We think 75-80 is old to be sailing a Laser and that guy ran a marathon at the age of 100! Not to mention his "young" friends aged 82, 82 and 83.
Maybe if I can keep plugging away, one day I will win the first Laser Masters World Championship for the over 85 age group.
Come to think of it, I really don't have a chance. #189811 will be sure to beat me, even if he will be 95 by then himself.

Sign me up. Can I use a North mainsail and my Garmin? I can get them on senior discount!

North sail - yes. Hyde sails are also legal.
Garmin - absolutely not. No GPS (or even digital compasses) allowed on Lasers.
This stuff about Lasers is above my comprehension level. Can you post a photo of a wahine?
Howabout my Speed Puck?
good point Joe. or maybe a photo of some food? or a chicken?
preferrably a wahine, though.
