Basically we die. The mortality curve takes a steep up tick. If you look at the oldest of the old (supercentenarians), women outnumber men roughly 10 to 1:
Easy, online recipes that can be prepared in your kitchen, surrounded by your contemporaries, in an hour or less. Because these folks are clearly over sixty. And as of yesterday, I'm less than eight years away....
Well done Clark. At last somebody got it. The Sunfish is 60 years old this year and I see that LaserPerformance are using the slogan SIMPLE.SOCIAL.SIXTY on their Facebook page to publicize the Sunfish. See https://www.facebook.com/LaserPerformanceSailboats?ref=ts&fref=ts.
Tillerman you have a great blog and you are ok in my book if you mention the mighty fish every now and then. Reading you blog even has me eyeballing a Laser on craigslist to add to the Gulf Squadron...I too have an affliction with the small boats, following in the footsteps of my wife, the real sailor in the crew. I'm a tad late to the comment party, but considering I posted sunfish at sixty the previous day, I had a good feeling that the slogan was referring to the Sunfish.

Motel rooms that rent by the hour?
Good answer. Do sexagenarians have sex at Motel Six?
But not what I was thinking of.
After age 60 the social aspect becomes simpler, for women, as men deduct themselves from the equation.
Deduct? What do you mean? Men die? Or they are too busy running marathons and sailing Lasers to be chasing the chicks in the nursing home?

(Surf City, here we come--10 girls for every boy) Now if we could just remember what to do and when to do it...
The odds are against us, so live it up while you can!
True George. In my mother's nursing home the women outnumbered the men at least 5 to 1. But the men still didn't look too happy about the situation.
But we digress.
What service or product does this slogan describe?
Maybe it's a slogan for a hiking stick company: simply attach our 60 inch stick to your tiller and watch your social standing go up.

Happy Birthday Baydog

The SIMPLE and SOCIAL messages were very much a part of my post on 10 Reasons Why Sunfish Are Better Than Lasers.
Thanks, Tillerman. I'll try to cheat that nursing home, but I won't do it by eating bacon.
Baydog: You've got Tillerman's favorite weapon for nursing home cheating--dust her off and go for a mid-winter sail!
Actually today is a perfect day for a midwinter sail in Rhode Island. I might just go for it.

LOL. Thanks for holding off on giving the right answer until we had had some fun with it.
Clark, here's an old beauty you may consider.
