Seems like there are a lot of similar designs out there now.
The Punk is actually the precursor of the Devoti D-Zero which was launched at the RYA Dinghy Show in the UK a few days ago, along with the RS Aero. Earwigoagin wrote a blog post about the two boats with video interviews with the designers/ builders here.
I was amused to find a video of the Punk at my old stomping ground Rutland Water.
Another U-shaped wedge. The wishbone boom is interesting although I personally prefer center main sheeting. She appears to go well to weather and doesn't bury the bow downwind.

I think they abandoned the wishbone boom in the D-Zero.
