Of course the difference is that nobody thought that Casals could possibly get any better at playing the cello, but he though he was making progress. And I'm such a bad Laser sailor that everyone wonders why I am not making progress even though I practice so much.

So true. People ask me the same thing about my ice dancing. They've stopped asking about my sailing. Lost cause I suppose.

At the age of 74, Iam not making progress in my sailing. I am fully in the regressive mode.
I think I have been regressing since I was 35.
