I suspect many of these are photoshopped, but I'll give the guy with the 'moran' sign--but the guy is probably in this congressional district http://moran.house.gov/
Well, I guess the first sign in this series - "Get a Brain Morans" - might be a reference to Representative Moran. (Though if it is, the name of the congressman is misspelled.)
I guess we should be grateful that the same sign-maker didn't decide to make a sign about the other guy in the photo on Rep. Moran's website, his "long-time friend" Rep. Dicks.
Tea Party guys with their signs, whether misspelled or not, don't bother me as long as they leave their guns at home. Any militia that can't spell correctly, can't shoot straight and couldn't possibly be "well-regulated" as required under the 2nd Amendment to our Constitution.
I don't know if the signs are "authentic" or even what that really means. I can assure you they are not photoshopped by me; I'm not that smart. I doubt they are photoshopped at all but I have no proof of that. I'm pretty certain that some of the misspelled signs at tea party protests are "authentic" in the sense that the writers of them did make genuine mistakes when they wrote them. However it is also possible that as the misspelled signs phenomenon was publicized on the Internet, other people may be taking deliberately misspelled signs to tea party events. I have a suspicion that the signs on this post could fall into this category.
Anyway I'm glad that my Sunday Teabonics posts have made some people laugh, and some people cry, and some people angry.
Ah, the old peril of the yellow horde. Know-nothingness plus xenophobia make such a great combination.
As for shooting straight and spelling right, the correlation doesn't have to be positive. Probably many of the nation's famous frontiersmen were functional illiterates, yet competently deadly. Remember, Gun Control is hittin' wot yer aimin' at, pardner.

I'm quite sure they meant to write, "Youth in Asia will kill you're Grandma."
Shirley your joking.

The real fools are the people who think these signs are authentic.
Thank you for the laugh (and the cry).
Anonymous; I've already put Tillerman to that task and he has assured me that they are all, in fact, genuine signs. And I believe him.
Doc HD: The folks who bring guns that are not registered are the ones about whom I am most concerned. And you make great ice cream.
Tillerman: Don't call me Shirley!
Love, Leslie Nielsen

Nope. I'm not angry...
Or a racist...
Or a moron.
I love you, Tillerman

Good point Pat. I suspect Doc was being ironic.
Making a vast generalization from one data point, did you know that Lee Harvey Oswald was very bad at spelling but very good at shooting?
Full disclosure: I stole that fact off the Internet.
I don't know about his spelling, but Jack Ruby was a good shot too.
A belly shot from 6 feet away with guys holding both arms of the target? Yo' kiddin me!
I can do that!!!!
Doc: Did you ever do a Jello shot from six feet away? I'm thinkin you may have
No, I never did a jello shot at any range. I've missed out on my jello shot stage. Irrevocably. And without much regret.
