Best Powerboat Blog on the Planet
After making the decision to become a powerboater, I figured I should do some research to find out some stuff about my new sport. What exactly is a powerboat? Is it the same as a motorboat? How do you drive one? What sort of powerboat should I buy? Basic stuff like that.
Well, if powerboating is is anything like sailing, all the best information and advice will be on blogs, right? That's where the action is. So I did a Google search on "best powerboat blog on the planet".
Hmmm. That's a little disappointing.
Article on 420magazine.com about the fastest hemp boat on the planet. I stole the picture above from this story, but 420magazine.com has... ummm... a different emphasis... not at all about powerboats really.
Post on greenboatblog.com about Sailboat or Powerboat? Hmmm. I don't think I'm going to find much practical advice about how to drive fast in a boat with twin 500hp engines on a site called greenboatblog.
Story from the UK Daily Mail about a man dying in a powerboat crash... and his parents saw it happen. Yikes! That's not the kind of stuff I need to read when I'm all enthusiastic about my new sport.
So where are all the powerboat bloggers? What is the best powerboat blog on the planet?
Help please...

Best powerboating blog on the planet?
Clearly, it's this one.
No wait...this just in....
Proper Course is now the best powerboat blog on the planet.
Wow. Who could have foreseen that?
O-Docker, you're damning with faint praise again!
I nominate A Movable Bridge. I'm linking to posts tagged "Puffin" because that is the powerboat in which Brian & Karen have been travelling under every movable bridge in NYC, the project that inspired the blog in the first place.
The Puffin actually hasn't been featured for a while though, she was hauled out at the end of last season & I don't know if they've put her back in.
Brian & Karen have had some great trips with Puffin. I would definitely not turn up my nose at an invitation to spend a day cruising with them!
I think that the story of the kid that was asked by his 5 grade teacher which was the best shark ever (after showing the movie jaws and instructing the kids in the various kinds of sharks like mako, bull, etc.) applies to the question of which is the best power boat blog ever... our little hero's answer to what is the best shark ever was.....the one that is not here!!
The best powerboat blog would have to be "Bowsprite", now covering all the powerboats that are engaged in cleaning up the mess caused by trying to supply all the current powerboats with a source of power.
Good one, Antolin!
Bonnie: Just saw your comment. First, thanks for the vote. And second, okay, I get the hint.
Puffin is back in the water, by the way. Finally.
Proper Course: I haven't been paying attention. Are you coming over to the dark side of boating?
-Brian
Hundreds of boat accidents happen every year which result in several deaths. Fishermen are the ones who are at the receiving end of these accidents. Most of the accidents happen due to lack of concentration of the drivers of the speed boat as they don’t know the rules of water, the way to protect their passengers.
Fort Lauderdale should investigate about this incident. It would worry other people about this issue. Boat Insurance Fort Lauderdale is pursuing government official about this.
