The only thing more ridiculous than this would be for me to invent something to go on the back of my Laser that would make the sound of an outboard motor.
First it was playing cards/clothes pins in the spokes, now this. Next thing you know, when these kids learn to drive, they will be fitting "fart mufflers" to their power anemic japanese econoboxes.
Robert -- there IS a device that you can put on your car that is connected to the engine in such a way as to detect engine revs. This device has speakers underneath the car, and you can select from dozens of different vehicles that your car can sound like, from a Harley to a Lamborghini to a Peterbilt.
Not sure how to fit one of those on a Laser, though.
Blogfather you have lost touch with your inner child. When I was a kid, putting cards, or balloons on my tires to sound like a motorcycle, I would have loved one of these.
As far as for a laser, it would have to operate underwater, since it is flipped most of the time. Hahahaha hhehehehahahhbawaaaaahhhhh.

You're clearly not in tune with 10 year old boys.
Maybe that's a good thing!
My 10 year old son would love one of these on his bike.
But a device that you can fit on your Laser that makes sounds like an outboard. Now, that is a silly idea. ;-)

oh wait...
You CAN put one of these on your Laser.
The only problem is that the one for the bike is $20, but the class-legal one for the Laser is $289.95.
I guess I'll just have to wait for the Intensity Turbospoke...

In the post carbon world, these will be the noisiest vehicles on the road. Hurray.
