My grandson, Aidan. He has hair. He has teeth. He is 19 months old, and already has an extensive vocabulary and is stringing words together in sentences. He loves trucks and boats and books and running and talking and bath-time and pulling faces for the camera. He is much better looking than he seems in this photo. We see him almost every week, and every week he has changed and learned new words and new tricks.
I like being a grandfather. Life is good.

Precious. I have two granddaughters, the younger of whom just turned 3. What a joy they are.
tillerman, my youngest of 3 boys is about the exact same age. I'm amazed at how much he has picked up and learns things so quickly. I enjoy my time with him (and the other 2, as well) immensely. my son is very similar in his interests to Aidan (he really love tractors).
I think you have a unique perspective in seeing your grandson frequently, but not constantly - as it is easier for you to see how he changes over time. the timeline of things sort of melds together with my 3 boys.
how long before he's sailing with you? my 20-month old really enjoys sailboat pictures and videos - I think he'd join me already, and especially as soon as he can swim.
cheers, my2fish
Sid Vicious!
Here's my grandson, Y'all!
Congrats - looks like a great grandson (er, maybe that wasn't phrased exactly right)
And I like being an uncle - life is indeed good
You'll be getting him out on a Laser soon then.
