Wow, if this is what Rhode Island looks like in December, I may have to reconsider all those snarky things I've said about your winters.
In the photo, it really does look like an island. I don't know how your chamber of commerce got away with calling it an island for all those years, but the effects of global warming seem to have brought about a remarkable transformation.
Does this mean you can launch from your driveway now?
Yes Baydog. There may also be some kayaking and cat sailing posts to keep Bonnie and Joe happy. There will probably at least one rum post. I hope there will be some "Tillerwoman goes sailing" posts too, as I know some of my readers like Tillerwoman posts.
O Docker, if you look very carefully at the picture you will see that the land shown is not actually a whole island but just a bit of an end of an island.
