Smitten. You're jumping ship, I can feel it! Dear Bruce Kirby....Don't get me wrong but
....I've decided to start campaigning a Penguin
Isn't that Hayling Island Sailing Club in the background?
It might be Chris. You probably know better than I would.Baydog, I'm attracted but not smitten yet. I would like to see more video of how well she goes upwind in a blow. And in any case I will need a demo before I'm truly smitten. And I don't think I'll ever "jump ship" in the sense of abandoning the Laser for another boat. I will keep sailing my Laser until they pry the tiller extension from my cold, dead hand. But the option is to keep sailing my Laser and enjoying the value of an established class with lots of fleets and an active regatta circuit, while perhaps also being in on the start of a new, small initially but growing class in a different boat. Imagine the fun of sailing the first Aero regatta in North America, the first US Nationals maybe… Decision time is fast approaching. The order book opens on Monday, I believe.
Interesting that they're up to sail nr 2014 already. Were are all those boats?
OK, maybe the sail number is just a celebration of the current year? Maybe there's only 2 or 3 boats in play...
There were 2 boats at the show I believe. There were 2 boats in my earlier video which was the first demo day. I'm sure you are right - the 2014 just reflects the year.
Looks like a bigger Open Bic.
Is that a bad thing or a good things Anonymous?
Definitely going onto my wishlist
