You had better be quick if you want to beat the Lion of Lawrenceville and the Sage of Sacramento who will probably get this in one, and know exactly what Tillerwoman had for lunch too.
Ha ha. Bonnie beat Baydog. Yes, we were at Evelyn's for lunch today. And yes, we did have stuffs as an appetizer… and they were even better than I remembered them from last year. But this plate was from the main course...
I can't wait for Saturday, I'm going on a sustainable seafood week boat ride with a raw bar, and speakers rounded up by the American Littoral Society. Oysters and scallops and clams, oh my! Should be fun.
Dang! No fair. I was too busy spilling the beans on my fridge raid ingredients. But as soon as I saw the photo, Evelyn's came to mind and I would've said clam bellies. Very jealous
I also need to get myself to Red Hook one of these days soon. Lobster roll from the Red Hook Lobster Pound, with Steve's Key Lime Pie for dessert, oh, and perhaps a visit to one of those hip artisanal distilleries - that would make a good blog post.

LOL. Bonnie's second answer nailed the main course too.
Oops. Should have said stuffies not stuffs in my first comment. That beer was good!
Summer must be coming!

Yes, I saw that. Have a great day - and take lots of pictures!

I can't believe you left all that over. There are children starving in Rhode Island.
Ha! Let them eat blueberry pie.
I was going to say that looked a lot like lobster roll remains...
