Yesterday I wrote a blog post about the selection of Tillerson as the next US Secretary of State.
Today I notice an abnormal amount of traffic to the blog, about 75% of it coming from Russia.
(There is usually not a lot of interest from Russia in my humble little RS Aero sailing blog.)
Are the Russians trying to hack my blog?
You should probably be very skeptical about any stories you see on here in the next few days.

That is hilarious and a bit frightening. Now if we could coordinate using intriguing (to Russians) keywords in tens of thousands of blogs, we could make those hackers' heads explode. Problem solved.
I've also seen instances over the past year where my blogs get an unusual amount of Russian traffic. I have no idea why.
I am not surprised, as we have a Russian European Champion in Dmitry Tretyakov

but where is the blog traffic from Estonia, they are regularly ruling the Aero waves?
Good question Peter. My blog should be YUGE in Estonia. Especially as I did mention some of the Estonian sailors at Lake Garda and even included some photos of them.
So everything I've ever read about the RS Aero online is fake news?
Some of it may be torrid. Take this blog post for instance.
I'm the same. The amount of Russian interest in my blog has exploded during the last few weeks. I think there's a web crawler/search site based in Russia that is doing a lot of searching.
nothing to do with what has been said here so far... here's the news:

Interesting idea Frankie but I am not feeling inspired by this particular story. I have already lost track of all the characters.
