Seven Sailor Light Bulb Jokes

Here are seven very lame light bulb jokes to kick off Carol Anne's group writing project...

How many high school sailors does it take to change a light bulb?
Three. One to change the bulb, one to be a witness, and one to file the protest.

How many Finn sailors does it take to change a light bulb?
Four. One to hold the bulb and three to rotate the ladder.

How many Star sailors does it take to change a light bulb?
115. One to hold the bulb and 114 to rotate the house.

How many Force 5 sailors does it take to change a light bulb?
Irrelevant. There aren't any Force 5 sailors left. They all burned their boats and bought Lasers.

How many Sunfish sailors does it take to change a light bulb?
None. The class rules don't allow the light bulb to be changed.

How many Moth sailors does it take to change a light bulb?
Meaningless question. The light bulb was eliminated to save weight.

How many Laser sailors does it take to change a light bulb?
None. Laser sailors aren't afraid of the dark.

Tillerman,

The Force 5 Class is alive and well ..... I'd be more than happy to provide a Force 5 for you at the 2010 Midwinter Regatta at Upper Keys Sailing Club in Key Largo, FL the last week in February ...... you want to burn your laser.

Thank you Steve. I am aware that the Force 5 class is alive and well. Some of my best friends are Force 5 sailors. I freely admit that some of them are better sailors than me... in any boat. My little digs here at Force 5 sailors are feeble attempts at irony. I hope everyone appreciates that.

And thanks for the offer of a boat for the Force 5 Midwinters in Key Largo. If I can fit it in with some other regattas down there in the L class or the S class I might even consider taking you up on the offer just so I can see the expression on Joe Rouse's face!

We'd love to have have you join us,
as well as many of the old Force 5's sailors with boats in there back yards

Update on the light bulb project: I've set a deadline of midnight, June 20 (Guam time) to submit entries.

In addition, all entrants will get a door prize: next time you're in New Mexico, a pint of your choice at either Socorro Springs or the High Country.

Oops, I misplaced my islands ... I meant midnight Samoa time, or, in other words as long as it's still June 20 somewhere in the world.

Interesting confirmation word ... "pastri" -- does that mean it's breakfast time?

Either Tim isn't a Hobie Cat sailor, or that was a political shot. Everyone knows Hobies don't like to turn.

So, it only takes one Hobie Cat sailor to change the bulb, just don't ask us to tack...
