Fins

Methinks I could have lots of fun at the beach this summer with this remote control robotic shark.

What would you do if you saw the fin approaching you while swimming?

punch the shark in the nose? That's what mythbusters says to do. And I trust those guys.

The shark is only 2' long...I have seen bigger stripers in the shallows at Old Silver Beach in Falmouth.

heh, reminds me of last November when I was heading back to the Carina (one of my schooner crewmates invited me to go on a bare-boat charter in the BVI's after schooner season last year & that was our boat's name) after turtlewatching in Hawksnest Bay on St. John - and I saw this!

There are heaps of sharks in Moreton Bay here in Brisbane Australia, so we have learnt to live with them.

I had a capsize drill scheduled for last weekend, but when i saw two fins swimming around the area (that were definatly not dolphins) I thought it was a good idea to postpone the drill. http://www.livesaildie.com/2006/01/tragedy-at-amity/

I see sharks as a total inconvenience to my daily operations!!!

But if I saw a shark whilst swimming I would be pretty scared... I admit it... I don't want to get eaten by a shark

I think I need one of these...definitely. :P

(oh and it's not a myth evk4...my cousin is a dive master off the Great Barrier Reef and he deterred a Great White that was about to attack by punching it on the snout...saved his life)
