Pretty fun to see. The Falls of Clyde is here in Honolulu; lots of history available for her. She's tied up, listing, and pretty bare above decks. Would love the chance to sail around the horn on a clipper like that.
I toured through the ship when I visited Mystic a few years ago. It was on Mevillle's birthday in fact, and they were have a non-stop reading of "Moby Dick". I remember it being very cramped, with tight stairwells and low ceilings. There was one teeny, tiny state room in the stern of the ship. THAT was the captain's quarters.
Awesome. I've been waiting for this since I first saw the CWM back in the early 1970s. I knew that they were making her ready for sailing, but lost track a couple of years ago. Thanks for sharing!

Big timbers, big project. Kinda out of the scope of us dinghy sailors but still neat to see.
All I wanted to know as I followed through this clip is does she have an up-to-date deisel engine? If she does, is this a restoration or a fiction?
