Maybe I should "upgrade" my Laser in a similar way this winter, fill it up with grandkids and sail it in the 2016

Or buy the tiller extensions an Aero 5. You will be amazed what they can do.
Kinda reminds me of Wagners' dock, although not quite as long. We always had some kind of sailboat tied up.

I'm not a naval architect, but it seems to me that weight placement would be REALLY important in a boat with that little righting moment and that much freeboard. I bet it would be super stable upside down though.
SoxSail has right although the Laser in this new form is a little bit more stable as it has a little more displacement (it is heavier). I still own the boat and sail it with standing rigging from a 420 - complete with jib. The original sail plan can still be used. Well, I learned a lot about GRP hand lay-up and all ;-)
