Caption Contest

We had a caption contest last week at the expense of a few serious looking sailors doing something mysterious with a Force 5 sail. Just to show that I allow equal opportunity to make fun of Laser sailors too, do please give me a caption for this Laser classic.

Eighth reason why Force 5's are better than Lasers.

Lasersick?

In these conditions, you'd think the poor guy would have enough boat speed without having to clean the bottom on every **%$%^*! leg!

It was so clever to put an electronic tactical compass where the fleet measurer wouldn't find it, but ... ease of use is just a bit of an issue.

Fried Onions and Baked Beans topped with hot sauce for breakfast helps increase the wind strength for those days when you are slightly under powered.

How many more times do I have to do this before you have the right shot for your freakin' calendar?

Damn! I didn't see this coming.......

The coaches thought it was such fun to tell the newbie that a 360degree penalty turn meant rotating the boat vertically.

That's better, now I can see where the leeward mark is!

This guy is obviously a Farce-5 sailor who has borrowed a Laser.

If he were a Laser sailor, his tiller would be hard to starboard to induce a 'round-down' maneuver out of this death-roll. As it is, instincts being what they are (to hold on to everything), this poor chap will have to buy the owner a new tiller to replace the current one when it snaps off. (I've seen this happen so many times with beginners.)

Sorry, this has been more of a prognosis than a caption!

"Opps! I guess I had better read more of Tillerman's blogs to see how it should be done!"

"Bloody Lasers! I think I'll find a proper boat to sail!"
