Only in America


We really do need to do something about the American educational system. What's the point in protesting against morons if you can't even spell it correctly?

Oh, he's a Cardinals fan. That explains it all.

The clue is in the punctuation. If this, um, gentleman were addressing his comment to morons, the sign would read "Get a brain, morons!"

Instead, that final word is a signature, on a separate line, following the closing exclamation point, indicating the message is coming from morons.

Oh, so maybe it's not a spelling error after all. Maybe his name is Morans? Or perhaps he belongs to a religious cult called Morans?

Oh yes. I see that Urban Dictionary has several definitions for "moran" including

3. The preferred method of spelling "moron" by morons, particularly that of a Missouri redneck at a rally supporting the US led war in Iraq.

6. Simply, the way a moron spells moron.

Here's proof positive it's bearing fruit. This upstanding American was trapped in high school for 12 years before the law freed him and allowed him to graduate.
