The Gide Free foil kits for the Laser are several thousand dollars. Personally I can think of better ways to spend that kind of money, but I can see why some Laser sailors would be attracted to adding foils to make their good old Lasers a bit more interesting. I expect they will appeal mainly to the older crowd who are not adventurous enough to move on from the Laser to something more exciting like a Waszp or an RS Aero.
