Hmmm - "in the pocket"? I had to look that one up on the Google. Apparently it's a musical term that is usually applied to drummers and bass players who are playing exactly on the beat.
I guess I would say something like "in the zone" to describe that sailing experience when everything seems to happen right effortlessly. But I don't think I was ever really "in the zone" in Terrigal so "in the pocket" will have to do.
