I do remember Nils (the star of the video) being in the HSC junior program when I was there, and I may have even been present at the club on the evening this video was made. I do remember one of the NJ papers coming to shoot a video on one Wednesday night I was there.
But I can't see myself in the video. However if you go to here you will currently see a photo of a handsome fellow leading a bunch of Lasers in a race at HSC that could only have been this regatta.
Hmmm. Good question. I don't think he ever sailed a Laser in any of the regular club races, but there is a Champion of Champions regatta each year when all the different fleet champions race against each other in a single class. One year I was there we sailed that in Lasers and I have a vague memory that he was in that.

Wow. I feel like joining. Only about a forty-five minute drive. It really is a low-key, happy place isn't it?
Tillerman, I couldn't help noticing the shirtless guy in the background standing in front of Sunfish #6.
Ah ah. I wondered if you would spot him. That is our mutual friend, I believe.
my first boat was a sunfish...
Mine was too.
I know him way too well to miss. He was probably giving pointers on tuning the Sunfish.

Did our friend ever sail Lasers there or only Sunfish?
