Happy Birthday

This blog is seven years old today.

What do you get a blog for its birthday?

Seriously. The kid is growing up fast. She deserves a present. What shall I give her?

  1. Happy Birthday!

Make a cake with seven candles of course.

  2. A makeover? Not that she needs it. A cake? Not that she eats it. Thanx for blogging. A huge inspiration. Crazy but weird. Always making me think or smile...
    Cheers,

  3. Crazy and weird; think and smile.

P.S. The new WV is crazy and weird. It makes me squint and frown.

  4. Congrats!

Could you ever have imagined seven years ago when it all began that today Microsoft still wouldn't have found all the security bugs in Windows?

  5. There's lots of things that I didn't imagine 7 years ago.

Hmmm. That would make a good blog post. Or maybe even a group writing project...

  6. Baydog. I have good news and bad news for you.

The good news is that the new Blogger word verification works fine if you only type one of the words shown.

The bad news is that the word that works is the one you can't read.

  7. Glad they explain that. And bring on the next writing project.

BTW: Typing one word doesn't work

  8. This is only a test comment to see if typing just one word works for me. If you see this, it does.

If you don't see this, we're into one of those existential Zen questions that makes your head hurt if you try to think about it.

These new word verifiers are making me very cross and unhappy. If Google doesn't see the light soon and get rid of them, I suggest we organize an Occupy Mountainview movement.

This is nonsense up with which we should not put.

  10. Thank God, I can now leave a comment. Even one that's boring. "Happy Birthday Mr. President."
