New England Boat Show - Free Tickets

THIS IS THE FREE TICKET OFFER FOR THE 2012 SHOW - LAST YEAR!!!!!

IF YOU WANT FREE TICKETS FOR THE 2013 SHOW CLICK HERE

I have complimentary tickets for the New England Boat Show to give away to some lucky readers. The New England Boat Show is at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center from February 11-19. I wrote about the show a few days ago at Boat Shows.

All you have to do to have a chance to win two complimentary tickets to the show (valid for any day of the show) is to leave a short comment on this post telling me why you want to go to the New England Boat Show.

Is there a particular exhibit you want to see? Are you shopping for a new yacht? Do you want to do some comparison shopping and need to quiz a number of vendors about their products? Are you aiming to check out one or more of the seminars? Or are you just looking for somewhere interesting to go on a cold winter afternoon in Boston? Whatever the aim of your visit, just explain it in a few words in the comments.

If you're currently not sure what you want to see at the show then check out Features at a Glance or browse the list of Exhibitors and Products or peruse the list of Seminars. You are sure to find something to give you a reason to visit the show.

I will randomly pick three winners from all the entries received by 6pm EST on Monday 6th Feb and announce the winners shortly thereafter on Monday evening. So come back on Monday evening or Tuesday morning to see if you have won. If you are a winner I will need your snail mail address (via email) ASAP after that so I can mail you the tickets to arrive in time for the first day of the show, Saturday 11 Feb. Each winner will receive two tickets to the show.

Go for it!

PS. Don't leave an Anonymous comment. You won't win that way! Contest not open to relatives of mine. Only one entry per person please. Decision of the judges (me) is final.

I'd love to see if anyone has more information about the new J/70.

I would love to go the the show. Unfortunatley i rule myself out of the competition as i cannot afford the flights from UK and hotel which, i strongly suspect, are not included in the complimentary offer :(

You should ensure the winner posts a full report after their visit.

Sadly BlueVark, the Proper Course promotional budget this month could not cover our Marking Director's suggestion that we include free first class flights on Virgin Atlantic to any lucky winners from Europe.

Maybe next month?

As for the full reports... I will certainly encourage any bloggers who win to write a report on the show. I also plan to visit the show myself and let you all know how it was.

What if I told you that February 11th is my birthday?

Baydog, if that is really the reason you want to visit the New England Boat Show and you are seriously going to come up to it, then I will include you in the draw.

My wife wants to go to the show. I always follow her lead. After all, SHE bought our current boat at the boat show in 2007. Time to upgrade!

My sloop will turn 33 y/o this year, and seeing the cost of new ones will encourage me to keep maintaining it! (Plus all the trade show swag.)

(Of course, I should have referred to my boat as "her" rather than "it." How un-salty of me!)

We are going to checkout new electronics, epribs and other gadgets. We will also be window shopping for a new trawler, our current vessel seems to have shrunken over the past few seasons. Or maybe stay on board 4 days a week makes it seem small. Either way we need more space.

I want to go to the show because I might cath a glimpse of Tillerman. Well worth the drudge of passing by all those fugly searay motorboats they have spread around.

LOL Judith. The Tillerman can occasionally be glimpsed at boat shows although he hibernates a lot at this time of year.

Thanks to all the other entrants, especially the first-time commenters here.

I just bought a house on a lake and I need to buy a boat so that I can enjoy boating on the lake this summer.

Are you kidding me Both my wife and I love our boat and we said what better a way to spend Valentines day than to go and look at our next boat.
