Under the Boat

"Now then, said Christopher Robin, "Where's your boat?"

"I ought to say," explained Pooh as they walked down to the shore of the island, "that it isn't an ordinary boat. Sometimes it's a Boat, and sometimes it's more of an Accident, It all depends."

"Depends on what?"

"On whether I'm on the top of it or underneath it."

"But it's too small for two of us," said Christopher Robin sadly.

"Three of us with Piglet."

"That makes it smaller still. Oh, Pooh Bear, what shall we do?"

"I suppose we'll just have to find a boat that's big enough to pooh on," said Poop.

Oh my goodness, I meant to say, "I suppose we'll just have to find a boat that's big enough to poop on," said Pooh.

And as that is really the end of the story, and I am very tired after that last sentence, I think I shall stop there.

At least he didn't say "poop deck". No, he left that for me.
