43 is pleasing on the eye.
I agree Dave. The 45 degree and 90 degree angles of the 4 contrast so nicely with the curves of the 3. Very pleasing on the eye.
It is even more pleasing on the eye in base 6 - 111.
And it is also the smallest prime number expressible as the sum of 2, 3, 4, or 5 different primes, which I find very pleasing.
