And so the scribes of Blogosphere their muses did beseech

To fill their sails with stories from the luff unto the leech

That the ship of Innovation might ride the wine dark sea,

Returning with her hold o'erflowed with tales of discovery.

There's mast and sail and hulls that plane and greens that help to nourish,

There are Texes twins, Marine and Gore, and horns that sound a flourish,

There are knots that hold and waters held behind great berms of land,

And at the helm of this bounteous ship there's a wise old tiller man.

Did you forget your own prior reference to my magnum opus? Another cannabinoid moment, sir?

(meanwhile the "word verification" on your posting tool is asking for "tqeella". Your site is drunk.

Sorry puffin. I did overlook your contribution. I have now added it as an update to this wrap-up post.

Thank you. It's hard being a bird...we need all the affirmation (and sand eels) we can get.

I still think "retirement" would have been a good one. Maybe I'll write about it when I retire.

Heck, maybe when I retire I'll even get to sail a little more than twice in a year.

Can't complain a lot though. Plenty of kayaking. Holly the Sailing Chair is always teasing me about priorities...somehow the paddling just seemed to take priority this year. First time I've been certified as a coach at any level for several years - that's not a bad accomplishment.

Can I change my mind? Or is that like picking two?
