After being greeted by crowds all over Britain, the Olympic flame started its first full day in London today at the Prime Meridian in Greenwich. Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, the first person to sail solo non-stop around the world, ran the torch around the Cutty Sark to delighted cheers from the crowds.
Makes me proud to be British.
I think I'll have a little weep now.

I'm hoping to see the Olympic torch not once but twice next week. Golly, this Olympic thing is rather soon now.

He sure is. First ever to sail non-stop solo around the world! It's hard to think of any other sporting achievement in my lifetime that compares with that.
