I hope this becomes an annual thing and catches on in the US next year because I really want to be able to say I raced against Robert Scheidt. We were unsuccessful in convincing anyone in our area to register their venue for the event. So, we'll make a donation instead.
In our district there is a Bart's Bash race in Marblehead (Eastern YC) on Sunday which is also the first day of frostbiting for the Marblehead Laser fleet. Not many registered on the official site yet but I wouldn't be surprised to see a decent sized fleet of Lasers (plus other boats) racing there.
