He could be the Steve Redgrave of sailing. It's great for the sport and great for blighty!

Exactly. I've been following his career for years but then I'm just a crazy Laser sailor. Is his name well know to the general non-sailing public in the UK I wonder?

I don't think he's as well known as Ms McArthur, which is certainly a crime as he's arguably the best sailor of the present generation!

I think his record in the Finn is even more impressive with the consecutive gold cup wins and the gold cup and olympic gold in the same year....
