I think this picture (shamelessly stolen from Nils Andersson's Facebook page) kind of fits with this week's theme of Less is More. Who needs an actual boat to go sailing?
Mal: I've sailed my entire life and never heard of the term "bung". Is this some strange aboriginal term? Call me when you're ready; I'm out back throwing some shrimp and 'roo on the barbie
This is a few years on, but I'm reminded of the minimalist theme of the last few posts. For minimalist sailing, one would not need an engine, nor sails. Nor, apparently, a boat ....

What's a Cubitainer?
"Damn kids must've 'borrowed' the drain plug again."
They warned me that these 187xxx series boats were a tad heavy... but this is ridiculous.
I'm gonna have to lose some weight
More like, "I'm gonna have to lose this weight jacket, and stop sailing like a wuss". Hike for God's sake, hike!
The bung! The bung! Oh shi...!
Bet you didn't know that you could put a sail on a submarine!
(verification word: hormoon -- is that what happens to most women about every 28 days?)
Of course, submarines have always had sails! Just ask a submariner or ask Bonnie's family friends to verify.
Jealous of the foiling Moth, Nils invents the submarine Laser.
Pat's right! :D

Now wot wuld a barrel be without yon bung stopperin' it.
"Who needs an actual boat to go sailing?"
Not me, apparently. I've been sailing for close to 20 years and have never owned a boat!
Lately I've thought a lot about buying, but the thought of annual maintenance and repairs is usually enough to keep the urges at bay.
