What is going on here?

If you found one of your sailing buddies doing this what would you say to him?

"After discovering that the beer was warmer than his feet, Bob decided to kill two birds with one stone; turning warm beer/cold feet into cold beer/warm feet."

Nice. On a similar point I never understood when I was doing RC duty for frostbiting at Cedar Point why we always had to put ice in the beer cooler. Why do Americans want cold beer even when they've just been sailing for three hours in freezing temperatures?

Oh, I guess that was a subtle plug for one of the many superb features of CPYC's frostbiting program: the RC will give you cold beer on the water between races if you want it. I tended not to partake until after the last race because I found out that even Bud Light gave me a buzz after a few sips in those circumstances, and my sailing was clumsy enough without being liquored up too.)

I cannot speak for others, but I remember being at Lambeau Field many moons ago for a Green Bay Packers/Chicago Bears game. It was cold and it snowed. And cold beer was all that was keeping me warm.

As for the caption, I cannot improve on the first comment.

"So let me get this right. First I get in the cooler. Then you tie a chain to the trailer. Then what?"

No Eli, that doesn't measure in as a Cape Cod Frosty.

"We don't do frostbiting here in Australia, mate... erm, so, is THIS how it's done...?!?"

I've just done a long post on my blog dedicated to sailing [in general] and Lasers [in particular] :)

As sad as he was, Joe had to finally accept that he was no longer competitive in an Optimist.
